Recent civil unrest throughout Washington, but primarily in the greater Seattle area, has led to the destruction of millions of dollars of personal property. In some instances, it would appear that local government had no desire to assist the very citizens that they are charged with defending. This is not a comment on local police departments, who would at a moment's notice, defend any citizen if given the chance to do their job. Rather, local leadership who has tied both hands behind the back of law enforcement. So, can you use lethal force to defend your property? Can a firearm be used when only property is at stake?
